The Business as Mission (BAM) program at Wilson University equips students with the theological, leadership, and marketing skills necessary to integrate faith and entrepreneurship for ministry impact. Designed for ministers and leaders who want to apply business and marketing principles to advance the mission of the Church, this program prepares students to launch sustainable, faith-driven ventures that support global ministry.

Program Requirements

Theology of Blessing

This course explores the biblical concept of blessing from Genesis to the New Testament and its significance for God's mission. Students will examine the origins, transformation, and fulfillment of divine blessing, assess the tension between material and spiritual prosperity, and develop a personal theology of blessing.

Business as Mission

This course provides an introduction and overview of Business as Mission. Students will explore a theology of work, consider entrepreneurship a calling, and examine the various BAM frameworks that missional entrepreneurs utilize. The principles of stewardship, ownership, and mission will be analyzed through the intersection of faith and business.

BAM From Theory to Action

This course explores the foundational principles of Business as Mission (BAM) and equips students to apply foundational BAM principles in real-world contexts by developing missional theories into personalized, sustainable strategies. Emphasizing practical integration and critical evaluation, students will create BAM models aligned with individual mission goals and assess their spiritual and practical impact on community transformation.

Stewarding the Mission

In this course, students learn to steward the mission of God through the planning and management of resources in a way that honors Christ and facilitates a sustainable, missional presence of the kingdom of God globally. Students will be equipped with an understanding of Christ-centered and Spirit-led business practices and the ability to apply biblical stewardship principles in starting and managing a Mission-minded organization. The resulting increase in the number of entrepreneurs and business leaders following God-honoring principles will create an explosion of growth in the capability of the Apostolic Church to facilitate the Missio Dei around the world.
